I am officially the third owner of the car, but the first owned it for a mere 1200 km's when new, and then the second owner had it for the rest of its life until i purchased the car from him about 3 years ago. i have the cars (almost) entire records, including bill of sale from 1986 and the work orders from the porsche shop it had been serviced at through out its life. included in its records are its ribbons from winning the concourse de elegance in several places in the US, in addition to the official Certificate of Authenticity straight from germany.the porsche has original paint, and zero accidents. It was pretty much fully loaded off the lot when purchased with the optional light 911 16'' fuchs and air conditioning, and also the car has the era appropriate blaupunkt stereo.
the car has Koni suspension all round, in addition to beefed up sway bars for stability, so it handles like a dream ( as im sure you know, completely stock the car was rated the best handling car in the world in 1985) and this ones is no exception. the car currently sits on brand new performance khumo tires, and has a new clutch, main seal, and the belts have been done recently. the paint color is called Hellbronze. it is a beautiful metallic gold color, very rare, and yes different than the similar "champagne" color.
The interior is is perfect, with no cracks in the dash, and the seats are in excellent condition.
The previous owner and I are both members of the Porsche club of America, and the car has been loved and always serviced at the same shop.
